After you complete the pre-screen, we’ll confirm eligibility and coordinate a tour. Prefer to skip the tour? Submit the official application → with your ID and internship or employment offer letter. If approved, we can prepare a fast-tracked lease ready to sign within 2–3 days. You can also request an optional phone call with founder Sophie Ow or co-founder Nathan Pope for questions, or—subject to availability—speak with a current housemate at your chosen property or a NestFolio Community alum about their experience living there.

Our standard leases start at 3 months, which lines up with most summer internships. After that, residents can extend month-to-month. Stays under 3 months are available at our Short-Stay Rate — ask us if you need one.

Absolutely. We welcome international interns and don't require US credit history. You'll need proof of employment (offer letter) or university enrollment. We can also work with corporate housing stipends and relocation packages.

Yes! Our minimum stay is 3 months, which aligns perfectly with a standard summer internship. If your internship extends or converts to full-time, you can renew month-to-month.

Yes. We can invoice your company directly for corporate housing arrangements. We also accept housing stipend documentation. Contact us at support@nestfolio.io to set this up.

We require 30 days written notice to move out. If your internship ends within the 3-month minimum period, you're responsible for the remainder of the minimum term. After the minimum, you're month-to-month with 30-day notice.

Just your clothes and personal items. Every room comes fully furnished with a bed, standing desk, ergonomic chair, and storage. The kitchen has cookware and appliances. Bedding (sheets, pillows, towels) is available for a $50 one-time cleaning fee, or you can bring your own.

We offer self-guided smart lock tours for applicants already in the area. For remote applicants, we provide video walkthroughs of each room and common space on our property pages. You can also schedule a video call tour with us.

Both properties are in quiet, residential neighborhoods. Sunnyvale (Remington Dr) is in a classic suburban Eichler neighborhood near downtown. Los Altos Hills (La Paloma Rd) is in a low-density hillside area. Both have smart lock security on all entry points.

Yes, guests are welcome during reasonable hours. Overnight guests are allowed occasionally with advance notice to housemates. We ask that you be considerate of shared spaces and quiet hours (10 PM“8 AM).
